30 Minute Meals: Turkey Meatloaf Meatballs

I love meatloaf in the fall and winter, it’s a comfort meal but I absolutely hate how long it takes to cook. Who has time to wait over an hour for dinner to be ready when you have kids to get to. Not this mom! So I was thinking one day to myself and said “hmm why not just make meatballs”

Genius! By making my meatloaf into meatballs I was able to cut my cook time down over half the time resulting in this 30 minute meal. It has become a favorite in my house and I keep it in rotation every other week.

Let’s get started! 


Turkey Meatloaf Meatballs

To go along with my meatballs I made mashed potatoes, steamed green beans and gravy. Feel free to choose whichever sides you prefer.

In total with my sides this meal is 30 minutes to prepare and serves a family of 4.


  1. 1 Package Ground Turkey

  2. 1 Yellow Onion

  3. 1 Green Bell Pepper

  4. Seasoning: Garlic Powder, Seasoning Salt, Italian Seasoning, Black Pepper, Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute

  5. 1 Egg

  6. Bread Crumbs (or crushed saltine crackers)

  7. Worchester Sauce


Preheat oven 400F. You want to first begin to chop your onion and bell pepper  into small pieces.


Once chopped in a large bowl you want to add the pepper, onion, meat, egg, breadcrumbs, Worchester sauce, and seasonings. Using a mixing spoon you want to mix all your ingredients together until they are mixed evenly. Now you want to scoop out and roll your meatballs.

How big you make them is up to you, however 1.5 inch size meatballs cook thoroughly quicker. on a cookie sheet or glass pan you want to sprat lightly with olive oil cooking spray and place your meatballs in the pan. Place pan in oven and cook for 25-30 minutes (time may vary based on gas vs. electric). While your meatballs cook you can prepare your sides.
